This site sets no cookies for an ordinary visitor. You can read every page, use the postcode form and send an enquiry without a single cookie being stored, and there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to ask you about.

What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep, so the site can recognise you on your next page or your next visit. Most sites use them for analytics, advertising and remembering settings. This one does not.
What this site uses
Nothing, for visitors. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no chat script, no embedded video player and no social media plugin on any page of this site, so nothing here sets a third-party cookie or follows you to another website. The WhatsApp button is a plain link: nothing from WhatsApp loads on this site, and nothing happens until you tap it.
The enquiry form does not use cookies either. When you enter a postcode, it is held in a temporary record on our server for thirty minutes so the second step of the form can find it; that record is tied to a reference in the page address, not to a cookie, and it is deleted when the thirty minutes are up. The message form on the contact page works the same way. What happens to the details you send is explained in our privacy policy.
One thing that is not a cookie
The WhatsApp button remembers, for the length of your visit, that it has already introduced itself, so it does not pop up again on every page you open. That note is kept by your browser in what it calls “session storage”. It never leaves your device, it is not sent to us or to anyone else, it holds nothing about you, and it is gone the moment you close the tab. If your browser blocks site data, the button simply introduces itself on every page instead, and nothing else changes.
The one exception: signing in
If you are a member of our staff and sign in to manage the site, WordPress sets the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and to remember which screen you were on. Those cookies are only set on the sign-in page, which visitors never see, and they are deleted when you sign out or when the session expires.
Managing cookies
Because this site sets nothing for you to manage, there is no setting to change here. If you want to control cookies from other websites, every browser lets you view, block and delete them: look for “Cookies” or “Site data” in its privacy settings.
If this changes
If we ever add something that sets a cookie — analytics, for instance — we will update this page first, say what the cookie is for and how long it lasts, and ask for your consent before it is set where the law requires it. The date at the top tells you when this page last changed.
